About

My name is Hermes Reisner. I’m a student at the University of Basel, currently pursuing my bachelor’s in Computer Science with a focus on the theoretical side and applications of artificial intelligence. (See Nature Inventory and LocalSR). When I’m not coding or working on math problems, you will find me either in the gym or in the streets trying to find the newest fashion pieces. If you can’t find me there, I’m either out hiking in the beautiful Swiss nature or on the other side of the world exploring another country.

Before that, I spent a year studying mechanical engineering at ETH Zürich, and before that a year of civil service on the intensive care unit at the University Hospital Basel. In 2026 I led a weekly section in Stanford’s Code in Place.
